<description>SEO is a part of SEM

There is a confusion among many people regarding the difference between SEO and SEM. As many friends said, SEO is optimizing a website through various tags, content etc., and enabling the site to the search engines through organic practices.

Even though SEM is not worried about the rankings, it still target the search engine traffic through paid (guaranteed) methods. Example: PPC, banner ads, etc.,

<description>Search engine optimization deals with getting your website to rank naturally in the search engines.

Search engine marketing deals with marketing your website in the various search engines and paying the search engines a fee every time somebody clicks on your ad that directs him to your site.

Regards,
Koby
