Think if you have loaded heavy images which require more storage space and bandwidth. So more the space you occupy…more you need to pay.
Also heavy images may cost you traffic. If your website takes more than 10 seconds to load, and visitors not gonna wait and open another web-page for info.

1. It gets in search results in Google images and a user can come to your website
2. Extension to this strategy also include you market it on flickr, picaso and more
Well how to do it
1. Name your image like this strip-shirt-with-white-collor.jpg (see the keyword is in image name)
2. Also put alt tag – so that it work in web search engine.

I have seen one of the website uses bullet image and putting alt tag onto it and it really work

Search Engines don’t read Images, this is why you need to tell search engines what is your image is all about.
Let suppose you have a cat image on your blog, will search engines find it is a cat image? No they don’t! They don’t have any idea what is your image all about.
How to let search engines know what the image is all about. You can use;
ALT Tag, Image File Name, Title Tag:
<img title="Cat" src="http://exampleofyourdomain.com/images/cat.jpg" alt="Cat">
Tips: Use a small file size of image (make it balance for the quality & file size)
.gif .png .jpg is common image type for web use.
