Search Engines don’t read Images, this is why you need to tell search engines what is your image is all about.
Let suppose you have a cat image on your blog, will search engines find it is a cat image? No they don’t! They don’t have any idea what is your image all about.
How to let search engines know what the image is all about. You can use;
ALT Tag, Image File Name, Title Tag:

Tips: Use a small file size of image (make it balance for the quality & file size)
